A poem on IPL

Indian Premier League – The thing larger than life

This is one of the things that each cricket fan craves for,

Excitement is to be gained by the viewers for sure.

Dhan dhana dhan run banane uttarte the champs of Rajasthan,

Maintain karte hein hamesha unke aan, baan aur shaan.

Phir pitch par kadam rakhta hai team Chennai all set to win,

They make the opposite skipper in confusion scratch his chin.

Then comes the allround balanced team Delhi,

Opposite to them players look completely silly.

Bhangra karte hue aata hai phir Punjab,

Saare angle se hai yeh team laajawaab.

Shock karne phir aate hain the men from Mumbai,

Whose motto is “DO OR DIE”.

Phir  aata hai the Bengal mutiny,

Making us believe that they have a genie.

Then come the Bangalore challengers,

Everyone in their team is a threatening danger.

Aakhir mein aate hein the chargers of Deccan,

Lethargy par karte hein woh complete ban.

So get ready because they are coming to thrill,

Sare teams brilliance mein karte hein deal.

IPL  zindabad !!
