Virender Sehwag is now Padma Shri Sehwag!
Yes, Explosive Indian opener Virender Sehwag will receive the Padma Shri annual award tomorrow of his excellence in cricket. 
Sehwag, rightly is been awarded for the Padma Shri for his explosive batting last year. He is the only Indian cricketer to achieve this feat this year.
Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal are among the six sports persons who were selected for the Padma Shri awards today.
Apart from the trio, country’s only Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan, hockey player Ignace Tirkey and cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar – whose notable pupils include Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli – were also selected for the award.
In today’s post match press conference Sachin Tendulkar quoted this:
“He truly deserves it”
